What the scores are
A Self-Dealing Score is our opinion, computed by a published formula from six kinds of public records. It isn't a finding that anyone broke a law or a rule. "Money → action" shows correlation, never proof of a quid pro quo. Missing data is never treated as wrongdoing. Summaries are drafted by AI research agents from linked sources and audited on a sample; they can be wrong, and we fix errors publicly on the corrections log.
Not investment advice
Nothing here is investment advice. Past disclosed returns say nothing about future results, and nothing on the site suggests any member traded on nonpublic information.
Reusing the data
Our scores and compilation are licensed CC BY 4.0: credit "Greederboard" and link back. The underlying public records carry their own limits, and your use has to follow them:
- Stock trades and annual financial disclosures come from reports filed under the Ethics in Government Act. Under 5 U.S.C. §13107(c) they may not be used for any commercial purpose other than by news and communications media for dissemination to the general public, for credit ratings, or to solicit money for charity.
- FEC-derived figures may not be used to solicit contributions or for commercial purposes (52 U.S.C. §30111(a)(4)).
- Market prices behind the portfolio pages are licensed for our own analysis and aren't redistributed; only derived returns are published.
